If there is one huge mistake you can make in a RPG, it's ignoring equipment! Equipment is very important in winning battles and is usually the difference in close fights. Equipment is divided into 4 groups: Boosters, Armor, Shields, and Enhancements.
Boosters
Booster increase your Zoids speed capabilities. Some boosters decrease your armor so choose wisely. Only two boosters per Zoid.

Armor increases your Zoids defensive capabitlities, but descrease your speed because of weight. You may only have one armor equipped per Zoid.

Shields
Shields, like armor, increase your Zoids defensive capabilities. Shields take the damage of the attack, if possible.
